Late 18th century, oak and pine secondary, dovetailed case, hinged slant lid with bread-board ends, loper supports, interior featuring a central prospect door with glass panel (with loss and break), flanked by two vertical document drawers flanked by three valanced pigeon holes to each side above four small drawers to each side, the case with four graduated cock beaded drawers, molded base raised on bold ogee bracket feet with scroll.

Hinge break out / cut / patch / repair to each hinge area; prospect door with loss and break to glass plate; brasses are old and in original holes; minor cock beading loss and some repair; feet are old and appear original but are tipped the lower 1/2 inch.
