George III Mahogany Inlaid Sideboard

Late 18th century, mahogany veneer, oak and pine secondary, rectangular top with stepped front with vertically veneered edge and light wood line inlay border, central single flush mounted drawer flanked by a deep drawer to the right and a hinged cabinet door to the left, all with figured veneered fronts and inlaid stylized quarter fans, stiles with wreath and bellflower inlays, square tapered legs with spade foot.

35.5 x 60 x 25.75 in.

Good estate condition. Top with expected light wear and some staining; veneer chip to front left side of top edge; top reset and with some later underside brace boards; drawer runner and drawer guides rebuilt; several upper applied leg moldings loose or missing; shrinkage splits to sides of case.
