Late 19th century, gilt bronze mounted with mask handles and shaped platform base, each side hand-painted in a vignette featuring a cupid, one side signed "MAGLIN", with floral painted domical cover. Stamped on the underside in crimson with a royal crown "Chateau des Tuileries".
