Antique English Chippendale Style Mahogany Footstool

Mid 19th century, rectangular upholstered seat, base of skirt with gadrooned carving, four cabriole legs with acanthus carved knee, well developed ball and claw foot with talon.

18.5 x 24 x 19.5 in.

Retaining an old possibly original surface with warm brown patina.

Old but later upholstery now in fair condition with staining and tears.
