Each worked multi-color silk thread on loose linen weave, the first unfinished with six alpha-numeric rows (7 3/8 x 8 5/8 in.) (with loss; repair; some staining); the second with six rows of upper and lower case alphabet above maker's name and age "Elizabeth D. Smith / Aged 7 Years" all within a strawberry border (8.75 x 8.25 in.); the third with six alpha-numeric rows above maker's name (illegible) (8 3/16 x 18 in.) (staining; some stitch loss); the fourth with three alpha-numeric rows above maker's name, date, and origin, "Mary Emeline Pendleton Age 14 / 1865 / Lyons / Walworth Co. / Wisconsin" and with a floral filled basket and pitcher (9.25 x 15.25 in.) (staining; repair).
