As follows: leather cartridge box with lead-filled brass US box plate, brass finial (7 x 8 x 2 in.) (retains one roller buckle; crazing and losses to finish; lacks tin insert; arsenal stamp obscured); plus leather cap box with brass finia, obscured arsenal stamp on flap, the back stamped "H. W. OLIVER / PITTSBURGH. PA." (3-1/2 x 4 x 2 in.) (losses to upper left corner of flap; crazed finish throughout., arsenal stamp obscured); plus Model 1873 45-70 trapdoor bayonet with US marking, iron scabbard, and brass hanger (21-1/2 in. overall) (losses to leather; rusting to blade and scabbard).
