Circa 1800, poplar and white pine secondary, two part form, the bookcase with applied stepped cornice, two hinged cabinet door each with ten window panes, molded mullions, shelved interior, flanked by fluted quarter columns, the base with a hinged lipped lid with bread board ends, loper support, interior prospect door opens to reveal a removable four-drawer secret cabinet flanked by two vertical document drawers flanked by four small drawers over three valanced pigeon holes to each side, the case with four cock beaded drawers flanked by fluted quarter columns, raised on shaped bracket foot base with spur.

92.5 x 43.5 x 24 in., upper case width 40 in.

Rear upper and lower case boards later; later bracket foot base; cut/patch/repair at hinge joint to lid; drawer guides and runners replaced; missing one loper pull and one pull nut.
