Mid-18th century, pine and oak secondary, two-part form, broken arched pediment with applied cove moldings, central plinth, hinged beveled mirror upper cabinet door, shelved interior, paneled stiles, two pull-out candle slides, the bureau with a hinged lipped bread board end, loper support, prospect door with tombstone panel and kingwood banded veneer border, pigeon holes and six small drawers, the case with two small side-by-side drawers over two graduated drawers with molded edge, molded base, ogee bracket feet.

91.5 x 40 x 20.5 in.

Feet tipped lower two inches; later pulls with plugged holes; later green leather writing surface; restoration to interior small drawers; old but likely later mirror plate; pediment with hairline cracks, now with later rear applied brace board; plinth block later.
