Attributed to Virginia, circa 1800, walnut secondary, two part form, flared stepped cove molded cornice above a dovetailed open cabinet with three shelves and plate rails, the waist board with applied molding to the top board, three side-by-side molded lipped drawers with inlaid escutcheon above two raised panel cabinet doors, straight feet from the stiles, applied dovetailed bracket foot base with spurs.

An excellent form with strong proportions and pegged construction.

Left front foot facing with shrinkage cracks; front right foot facing cut and tipped; two right side spurs tipped; front right spur missing; later pulls in original holes; later hinges with interior hinge repair to left lower cabinet door; lower case waist molding with break and repairs to left and right sides.
