The Estate of Jack Wolf, New York, New York

Jack Wolf was a long-time New Yorker and patron of the arts. He had a career in advertising and public relations, and he was a publicist for Robert Indiana as well as various art galleries. Throughout his life, Mr. Wolf developed a strong collection of art, film memorabilia, stamps, and autographs.

Sydney Batchkes was born in Kentucky, raised in Cincinnati, and he ultimately moved to New York. He was a painter known for abstraction, a printmaker, an illustrator, and he worked as a designer at Columbia Records and designed a number of book jackets. During World War II, Batchkes was stationed in Europe as part of the Camoulage Corps and helped make topographical maps three dimensional. Batchkes' work is present in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; National Museum of American Art, Washington, DC; as well as other significant collections.

Some slight surface grime and several spots of flaking.
