Robert Harrison was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1949. He is well known for his hill country landscapes and Texas bluebonnet paintings. Primarily self-taught, he spent much of his youth in Wimberly, Texas and was greatly inspired by his grandmother, Myrtle Lowery, another hill country artist.
