Circa 1830-1840, rosewood, rosewood veneer, mahogany secondary, top with applied ogee gallery, hinged slant lid with tooled leather surface opening to reveal two drawers over two faux drawers (the left faux drawer handle pulls out to unlock the outer right upper drawer, which reveals a divided ink/pen compartment with hinged end resting flush beside the writing surface), the right side of the cabinet with four flush graduated drawers, the left side with faux drawers, front panel with fully turned column supports, shaped base on casters.
