Circa 1820-1840, mahogany veneer, poplar secondary, two part form, upper case with projecting pediment with arched panel frieze, two hinged astragal molded doors with shelved interior flanked by fully turned and carved columns ornately decorated with acanthus leaves, pineapple and fruit basket, the waist board with applied rounded edge, upper projecting fall-front drawer with divided interior in maple featuring a plume inlaid prospect door, pigeon holes and small drawers, green baize writing surface, over three graduated flush drawers flanked by fully turned and carved columns, paneled sides, front carved acanthus leaf and hairy paw feet, rear straight tapered feet.
