From the Collection of the late David and Happy Powell, Timmonsville, South Carolina

Charles Volkmar (American, Baltimore, Maryland 1841–1914) created this plate in remembrance that George Washington lived in this mansion from the time of his inauguration until Feb. 1790, thus the moniker "The First White House".


Some chipping around hanging apertures.
