Walter Lynn Mosley earned his BA in Art from San Jose State University. While living in California, he studied with Bob Gerbracht and Maynard Stewart. He moved to New York and continued his studies at the Art Students League.

Mosley currently teaches watercolor and drawing basics at Lincoln Square Community Center. He is a full time artist living and working in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York.
