Bob Trotman is a sculptor working in western North Carolina. Primarily working in wood, he uses traditional methods of carving to create figures that serve as satirical commentary on the workings of money and power in America today.

He has been honored with solo exhibitions at the Taubman Museum of Art, Roanoke, Virginia; Gregg Museum of Art & Design, NC State University, Raleigh, North Carolina; Morris Museum of Art, Augusta, Georgia; Mint Museum of Art, Charlotte, North Carolina; and the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, North Carolina; among many others.
