Patinated bronze, signed and dated 1995 in the casting, limited edition 26 of 45, depicting three cubs crouched on a rocky precipice, mounted on a shaped wooden plinth.

Living and working in Colorado, Gerald specializes in animal sculptures and primarily works in bronze and marble. He is a member of the National Sculpture Society, National Academy of Western Art, Allied Artists of America, Northwest Rendezvous Group and the Society of Animal Artists. Gerald has created large scale commissioned sculptures for various locations, and is also the recipient of various awards including Prix de West Award, received in 1985 from the National Academy of Western Art at the Hall. His work is exhibited throughout the United States, and he has taught at the Scottsdale Artists' School, the Art Students League of Denver, the Loveland Academy of Fine Arts, and the Hall of Fame's adult art education program.
