Tom Ouellette was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and later attended Harvard University and the Art Institute of Boston. He moved to New York City in the 1980s to study oil painting with Michael Aviano, who's work is also offered in this auction. Ouellette has been the recipient of the John Singleton Copley Award and the Richard and Mary Schroeder Award for painting.
