Hutschenreuther Porcelain Plaque of Echo

Germany, late 19th century, rectangular shape with polychrome enamel decorated depiction of a young Oread maiden as Echo, artist signed "Wagner" lower left after Edouard Bisson, the reverse with painted title and impressed crown and shield factory mark, housed in an elaborate gilt wood frame.

Frame 14 x 12 in.; Plaque 5 3/4 x 3 7/8 in.

Plaque good condition; frame with wear at high points, some touch-ups, hairlines.
