A copy of a still life, dated to 1726, currently in the Wallace Collection at Hertford House in London. Prior to its acquisition by the 4th Marquess of Hertford from Samuel Mawson in 1854, the painting was in the collections of the Baron Schönborn, Wilhelm VIII and Wilhelm IX of Hesse-Cassel, the comte de Pourtalès-Gorgier and the baron de Mecklembourg.

Canvas in need of re-stretching; stretcher marks; surface grime and yellowing varnish; loss and surface damage to frame; no evidence of restoration visible under UV light.
