Alice Ballard is a ceramicist living an practicing in Greenville, South Carolina, and the pastel drawings offered here are a deviation from her usual ceramic work.

Munn is known for her graceful ceramic renderings of objects from nature, particularly buds, pods, shells, and leaves. Her work is present in many significant collections, including the Mint Museum, Charlotte; Umstead Hotel, Cary; Levine Cancer Center, Charlotte; Abacus Planning Group, Columbia, South Carolina; and others.
