New Haven, Connecticut and St. Louis, Missouri, late 19th century, brass time and strike movement with pendulum, walnut case with arched glass-fronted door having "Fashion" across its center in gold lettering; within a printed dial with Dec. 28, 1875 patent date and inset seconds dial; below, a conforming date dial with day and month apertures plus a March 18, 1879 patent date; the interior has a Seth Thomas manufacturer's label.
