French Provincial Oak Buffet à Deux-Corps with Clock

19th century, two part form, upper case with central enamel face clock marked "J. B. Gardiner" with two weights, pendulum and winding key, hinged glazed door over carved date of 1838, waist door with carved drop tassels and foliage over a diamond window, flanked by two hinged glazed doors with molded mullions, painted shelved interior over two small carved panel drawers, the base with three central carved panel shallow drawers, molded stiles, flanked by two hinged shaped panel doors with shelved interior, scalloped and carved skirt, paneled sides on short cabriole feet.
