Attributed to Tennessee, circa 1840, cherry and mahogany veneer, poplar secondary, scalloped backsplash with figured mahogany veneers, two upper small convex drawers, central recessed surface with paneled mirror surround over one long convex drawer over four hinged shaped panel cabinet doors flanked by fully turned columns, paneled sides on bold turned feet.

By family descent through the Wilkes of Tennessee.

Top boards reset and with shrinkage cracks / fill; later pulls; some small veneer chips; maring to base especially to right side of case and feet.
