Circa 1900 carved mahogany case with early 19th century brass face reading "Handscomb, Woburn, with silent/strike dial, second dial and date dial, well developed case with a broken arch relief carved pediment, quatrefoil columns, astragal molded and glazed waist door, relief carved base on gadrooned bracket feet, with two weights, pendulum and case key.

Old face with later case, the face sits back about four inches from the hood door; chips and crack to glass on hood door; no clock key; cracks to fretwork panels on sides of hood; shrinkage crack to fretwork frieze above waist door; upper hinge of waist door detached from case; pendulum missing pin; pendulum acceptor arm with loss.
