Circa 1880, burl wood veneers, three pieces, including a tall back sofa in later plush green upholstery with high grade burl veneer panels, foliate carvings and incised decoration, the scrolled arms with figural carved caps, front turned and fluted legs (48.5 x 80 x 42 in., seat height 16 in.); together with a matching pair of parlor chairs with similar carvings and burl veneers, hip rails, with old (possibly original) drape mohair upholstery on front turned and fluted legs (40 x 23 x 19 in., seat height 16.5 in.), appears unmarked.

Sofa with later upholstery having tears and staining; chairs with old upholstery having age appropriate wear and fading; the sofa lacking the rear crest rail wall protector and with scuffs at that area; overall good structurally sound condition.
