Aaron Levy was born in New York in 1899. After a career as an executive in the textile industry, he retired in 1951 to devote himself to painting. Levy was a member of the Camino Gallery, one of the famous “10th Street Galleries” in Manhattan's East Village in the 1950s and 1960s.
