Circa 1800, mahogany veneer, light and dark wood inlays, poplar and pine secondary, top with edge inlay, vertically veneered border, the case with two side-by-side drawers over one deep drawer over three graduated drawers all with edge inlay, scalloped skirt with barber pole inlay on French bracket feet, the bottom drawer retaining a label for Florian Papp, New York.

Tight shrinkage crack and fill to top; surface scratches from use; later drilled pulls; no key; rear feet with cut and later facings.
