American Queen Anne Ladder Back Painted Armchair

Attributed to New England, late 18th century, mixed woods, with all over old red wash, finial posts, four concave shaped backsplats, shaped arms, turned front legs with ball feet, bulbous turned double front stretcher.

45 x 21 x 23 in.

Later caned seat, with minor loss to front edge; red wash old with some enhancement; all feet cut and tipped.
