The first is oil on panel and depicts a man in the MacNauchton tartan, the panel retaining a label for Roberson & Miller of London (Frame dimensions 16 1/2 x 13 1/2 in.); the second is oil on artist's board and depicts a pensive man wearing the Cunn tartan, the verso with oil sketch of an eagle (Frame dimensions 15 3/4 x 12 in.).

Both with some abrading to frames and paintings, does not detract from images.
