Vic Payne is a renowned figural sculptor working in bronze for over 40 years, with themes depicting the American West, wildlife, and Native American peoples. When he was ten years old, Vic's father left his job as a crop dusting pilot and moved to New Mexico to focus full time on painting and sculpting. His mother operated a foundry and cast some of Vic's first wax sculptures. His work is exhibited and collected throughout the country, including the permanent collection at Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art, Artesia MainStreet Association, Booth Western Art Museum, Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Dennis Weaver Memorial Park, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Mack Energy, Raymond James Financial Institution and Yates Petroleum.
