Bill Weaver is an accomplished sculptor working with heavy gauge bronze sheet that is rigorously welded, forged, and patinated in a unique process making each sculpture a one-of-a-kind original.
Bill's artistic training includes a Bachelor of Arts from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado (1977); a seven year apprenticeship under bronze sculptor Edgar Britton in Littleton, Colorado (1974); and a two year apprenticeship under wood sculptor Ole’ Jorgenson, in Des Moines, Iowa 1970. Bill's impressive list of solo and group exhibitions, commissions, and acquisitions in public and private collections from 1970 to the present are numerous throughout New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado.
