Late 18th century, mahogany, mahogany secondary, rectangular top with molded edge, adjustable stop, dual hinged lid, single scalloped drawer with half/leg supports, interior sliding green baize writing surface with divided interior, subsequent small drawer to the right panel of the drawer's exterior, straight legs with interior quarter rounded column detail.

Sun fading to the finish, especially to the top and back of the case; old surface stains; shrinkage crack and fill to the top; small chip and repair to the left side of the top; later green baize; some warping to the front legs; patch to the sides of the case.
