Including a George III mahogany tea caddy, rectangular form with concave shaped lid, the front with ornate brass escutcheon, opens to lead lined interior, on four brass ball feet, includes key (5 1/8 x 5 x 3 7/8 in.) (scattered wear to interior; loose lock mechanism, some scratches and veneer wear to edges and corners, later rear foot); the second a 19th century sarcophagus form, likely English, with gilt and polychrome painted floral motifs and geometric medieval style tracery designs on a black lacquered ground, inlaid metal escutcheon opens to twin lidded compartments with brass pulls and gilt lined interiors (6 1/4 x 8 3/4 x 6 1/4 in.) (scattered rubbing and loss to paint and gilt; some veneer loss; loss to interior lining; shrinkage crack to rear panel).
