Late 19th century, mahogany veneers, oak and pine secondary, multi-part form, central broken arched pediment with inlaid rosettes above a stylized inlaid dentil molding above a frieze with applied arched molding, stepped front central section featuring two hinged molded mullioned cabinet doors featuring artichokes, louvered shelved interior with fabric lining, flanking cabinets to each side with repeating motif, the conforming base featuring three central side-by-side desk drawers above two hinged cabinet doors opening to reveal a single drawer above shelved cabinet, flanked to each side by four graduated stacked drawers, molded platform base.

102 x 85 x 17 in.

A good example for this form utilizing bright contrasting satin wood inlays and choice mahogany veneers.

Later electrical lighting; later fabric lining to interior shelves; right side of lower upper case with small cut and patch near hinge; the three central side-by-side desk drawers appear to have the two outer hinged lids reversed; minor scuffing and wear at base; overall good condition.
