All signed and dated (1993-96), with painted and gilt trademark face decoration, to include: small table lamp, with shade (14 in.); handblown round glass ornament (7 x 6 in.); bulbous small bud vase (5 in.); egg on stand (3 1/4 in.); paint decorated folded letter, the reverse with handwritten note signed by the artist (4 1/8 x 11 3/4 in.).

Stephen White is an acclaimed artist living and practicing in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is known for his textured paintings with gilt highlights that are inspired by ancient Byzantine techniques and Asian influences. White’s favorite model, a woman named Marian, has been the muse for the stylized female figures often depicted in White’s work throughout his career.

Good estate condition, letter with some wear along creased edges.
