Three gallon size, light olive alkaline glazed stoneware, having arched strap handles over a tooled spout and shoulder, applied features include an open mouth with one row of china plate teeth, inscribed facial 'hair', stamped "CL" below spout capacity mark indicated behind right ear. Note small spots of rutile.
