Update: Complete records located showing a complete restoration in mid 70's. Correspondence, manual, catalogs, receipts and more. Appears to have been a southern US car, as it was found/restored in Georgia. Sourced seasoned Ash timbers from England for restoration. Apparently TD bumpers are/were scarce. A letter informs Mr. Starnes that without exchanges he would not be able to sell new ones. They are "rare as hen's teeth" the letter says.

Retains the original 1,250 cc pushrod-OHV engine with a compression ratio of 7.4:1 producing 54.5 bhp, and a four speed manual transmission.

A repaint in red/black with new black interior and top. Internally, the carpet appears to be original as does the wooden dash, steering wheel and gauges. The headlights and grille are painted black, with chrome fender mounted mirrors, bumpers, and trim. The steel 15 in. wheels in fresh silver paint with chrome wheel centers fitted with refurbished center caps.
