Virginia Lynn is best known for her dramatic seascapes of the Pacific Ocean. She made her home first in Burbank, California in the 1940s before moving near La Jolla. In 1968, she moved to the seaside town of Cambria, California. It was here that she opened the Art Tower Gallery and became a prominent member of the Cambria artist's community. For many years, her works were commonly found in the fine art galleries of San Francisco.
