Bisque fired porcelain, mounted atop a rectangular glass stand with acrylic display case, unsigned. Accompanying the lot is written letter between artist and buyer, and laminated artist handout regarding firing process and care recommendations.

Thelma is a contemporary artist with a passion for creating bisque fired porcelain sculptures inspired by nature. Previously a full time Art, History and English teacher, she continues to mentor students in the Cincinnati public school system and is also a docent for the Cincinnati Contemporary Art Center. The sculptures are meticulously designed, crafted and fired in a multi-stage process. Thelma is a member of the Clay Alliance of Cincinnati and her works have been displayed in the nationally published Clay Times Magazine and in numerous juried art shows.
