Circa 1780, atlantic white Cedar, yellow pine, and poplar secondaries, two part form, dovetailed case, an applied flared and molding two part cornice, two large hinged upper cabinet doors with raised panel and molded edge, louvered shelved interior; the desk featuring a dovetailed case; hinged lip slant lid with loper support, desk interior with central prospect door revealing three graduated small drawers, flanked by four small valanced drawers to each side above a total of eight pigeon holes and six small drawers, the case with four graduated long drawers with scratch beading, inset quarter columns, molded base raised on ogee bracket feet.

Inlaid escutcheons likely later; the top: some louvered shelves and dividers later; upper case lower left and right rear corners with cut and patch, minor loss; the desk: hinged lid with loss to corners; left upper corner with cut and patch; later hinges with cut and patch; old dark staining to writing surface; later drawer guides; some drawer runners rebuilt; pulls later with concealed plug; left front and rear foot with hairline crack and repair to facing.
