Patinated and bronze, numbered edition 14/74, incised signature with copyrighted date 2005 to lower sash edge, a graceful full length woman posed with windswept sash, mounted to a patinated tapered round swivel plinth. Included with the lot is the original purchase receipt from Brendel Gallery, New York.

Ramon received formal training at Walla Walla College as well as Southern Oregon College of Art. Parmenter's naturalistic figural sculptures are known for their adept handling of movement, grace, and idealized beauty. As the artist himself once said, "The beauty of the living form . . . has fascinated me . . . in the torso I find endless drama. The essence of my role as an artist is to capture that drama at its most poignant moment."
