19th century, the first in a striped pattern of rosewood and satin wood veneers, slightly arched hinged lid, divided and lidded interior with rosewood veneers, flush base (4.5 x 9 x 4.5 in.); the second in burl wood veneer with a hinged dome lid, divided and lidded interior in mahogany, flush base (6.25 x 9 x 4.75 in.).
