Ink on paper, one signed at lower right (frame dimensions 27 x 19 3/4 in.);, the second with no apparent signature (frame dimensions 29 1/4 x 23 in.), both matted and framed under glass.

Broderson graduated from Duke University in 1950. He taught for at Duke and North Carolina State University for several years during the 1960s, before leaving teaching to devote himself fully to painting. His work may be found at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, as well as the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh.

Good estate condition - neither examined out of the frame.
