New York, late 19th century, including a relief carved bed with pronounced molded headboard flanked by fully turned reeded columns, conforming footboard with repeating reeded columns, shaped rails with bolts (headboard 81.75 x 65 in., rail length 75.5 in.); a matching low dresser with swivel beveled mirror flanked by reeded columns surmounted by relief carved moldings, the chest with a rectangular top having rounded corners, two over two drawers, paneled sides, molded base on casters with enamel label plaque to back of mirror (81.5 x 54.5 x 24 in.).

The bed and dresser retain an old likely original dark finish; the headboard and footboard with surface wear and scraping to edges; the rails with some small edge chips; the dresser top board with surface scratches, two detached pulls (but present) with scraping to the drawer front.
