Early 19th century, white pine and poplar case, rectangular lid with applied molding, open interior with till to the left side, straight feet with shaped cut-out sides, all over original faux mahogany paint decoration.

Top loose and with breaks and loss to rear edge of lid by hinge joint; circular staining to top; paint chipping and wear to case edges.
