This depiction of Saint Cecilia at a gilt baroque period organ bears resemblance to the painting of the saint by Pedro Jose Diaz (fl. 1750-1810) at the La Merced convent in Lima, Peru.

Scattered paint flaking and surface grime; some superficial surface abrasions; some metal corrosion to verso; rubbing and chipping to frame.
