Attributed to Eastern North Carolina, circa 1800, mahogany veneer, poplar and yellow pine secondary, dovetailed case, hinged lipped lid nicely veneered and with large light and dark wood oval, light wood banded edge inlay, interior with prospect door, seven small drawers, four flush graduated drawers each with triple line banded border and nicely vertically veneered book-matched facings, later bracket foot base.
