Late 19th century, rosewood, tall applied shaped back splash featuring a central figure playing flute with all over leaf and rosette relief carving, the shaped top with relief carved vine/leaf/rosette design with figures at each corner, conforming relief carved and pierced skirt, raised on six legs with stylized lion head above two bird forms resting on a dolphin foot, multi-stretcher base each with repeating relief carved rosettes and central seated figure reading at rear center plinth.
