The larger has a whale applied on the cover plaque (7 x 9 1/2 in.), and the smaller features a scallop shell (4 1/2 x 6 in.) stamped on the underside with a B in a circle.

The larger basket has a somewhat loose weave with small ends extending out of the weave.
